Samsung is gearing up to expand its One UI 8 beta program to more flagship devices starting next week. After launching the beta for the Galaxy S25 series in May and debuting the stable version on the 2025 foldables, the company is now bringing last year’s premium models into the mix.
Who’s Getting the One UI 8 Beta Next Week?
From next week, users in the US, UK, India, and South Korea will be able to register for the One UI 8 beta via the Samsung Members app on the following models:
- Galaxy S24, S24+, S24 Ultra, S24 FE
- Galaxy Z Fold6
- Galaxy Z Flip6
Keep in mind, this is a beta release, not the stable version. Samsung will use feedback from testers to fine-tune the final build, which is expected to arrive in September for the Galaxy S25 series, followed by a rollout to other eligible devices.
Older Models – September Beta Rollout
If you’re using an older device, you’ll have to wait a bit longer. The September beta wave will include:
- Galaxy S23, S23+, S23 Ultra, S23 FE
- Galaxy Z Fold5, Z Flip5
- Galaxy A36
- Galaxy A55, A35
- Galaxy A54
Interestingly, Samsung’s global press release lists the Galaxy A36 but not the A56, even though it’s not a regional limitation.
One UI 8 for Galaxy Watch
On the wearable side, the Galaxy Watch Ultra has already received the stable One UI 8 Watch update. The Galaxy Watch7 is still in beta testing, and Samsung has confirmed that One UI 8 Watch will roll out to more Galaxy Watch models beyond the Watch8 series later this year.
