The Galaxy Z Flip 7 brings a slimmer design, upgraded displays, and AI polish to Samsung’s flip-phone lineup. With a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X main display (120 Hz, up to 2,600 nits) and a 4.1-inch edge-to-edge Flex Window cover display, it’s now more versatile than ever-even without opening the phone.


Powered by Samsung’s new Exynos 2500 chipset paired with 12 GB RAM and up to 512 GB storage, the Z Flip 7 excels in everyday use and AI-enhanced tasks-even if raw benchmark scores fall a bit behind Snapdragon competitors. Battery life is rated at 4,300 mAh, offering up to 31 hours of video playback, though charging (25 W wired, 15 W wireless) remains modest.

Durability is improved, featuring Armour Aluminium, Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and an IP48 rating. The hinge and outer display held up impressively in durability tests, although the inner screen remains prone to scratches without extra care.

While it’s an incremental upgrade over the Flip 6, its larger cover screen, AI tweaks, and DeX support push it ahead of most competitors in the flip segment. Just be sure to handle the inner screen with care.
