We get Android security updates on the 5th of every month. The November 2018 security patch was officially released yesterday and comes with usual bug fixes and some Pixel specific tweaks. These are mainly improved picture-in-picture performance and enhanced notification stability. Highlights for November 2018 November 2018's update comes with two patch dates: 11/01/2018 and 11/05/2018. Moderate-to-critical bug fixes for the system, media framework, and framework. Improved picture-in-picture performance for the Pixel 2 and Pixel 3 series. Improved stability for notifications for the Pixel 2 and Pixel 3 series. MediaTek is one of the biggest names when it comes to mobile processors. It powers a lot of mid-range and lower mid range smartphones. The company announced its latest chipset for smartphones few weeks ago. It's the MediaTek Helio P70. The Helio P70 is the successor to the P60 that powered many Oppo and Vivo smartphones. Both the CPU and GPU are upgraded in the P70. The Helio P70 uses an octa-core system with four ARM Cortex A73 processors clocked at 2.1GHz. Along with that, there are another four Cortex A53 chips @ 2.0GHz. On the graphical side of things, we're looking at a Mali-G72 MP3 system that can be used up to 900MHz (a performance boost of 13% compared to the Helio P60). OnePlus 6 is one of the best, if not the best flagship phone and just before all the leaks of the OnePlus 6T, I wondered what could have been better. I have a OnePlus 6 and honestly apart from a slightly bigger battery and better stereo speaker, I didn't wish for any other changes.
